No Hybrid Nessesary. An electric car that works!
Check out the new Honda FCX-Clarity.
This is a fully electric car that will work in the real world. It does not need to be charged and will go farther than the grocery store before it needs to be re-fuelled. That is not a typo, this electric car needs fuel. Hydrogen to be exact. In combination with oxygen, an onboard generator creates it's own electricity. The electricity is then stored in batteries to be used as necessary.

This car never has to be plugged in and when the Hydrogen tank gets low, it is simply filled at a gas station like a regular car.
At this time there are very few gas stations that supply Hydrogen. But, I think that a car that preforms exactly as we know cars should, yet produces no emissions other than water, will have an effect on that.
At least I hope so!
