Here is a before and after picture of a newer black Chevrolet Yukon’s quarter panel. The customer came to us after one of their kids had put something against the front quarter panel of their truck while they loaded up for a road trip. As the vehicle moved from people loading gear in the object resting against the quarter panel scratched and gouged some marks, swirls and scratches into the paint. After being quoted nearly a grand to have the quart panel painted the customer left the ugly scratches and marks. They happened to be getting their vehicle detailed at Splashes and asked what we could do about these deep scratches in the photo below if they were to get the exterior of their vehicle polished. We told them about X-Kote paint restoration and scratch repair, how it would rid of the scratches permanently and doing the entire vehicle would cost a fraction of what the body shop had quoted.
