The Tesla Model S takes this to a whole new level with 443 lb-ft of torque available at ZERO rpm and 416 hp at 5000 rpm, giving this beautiful car a 4.4 second 0-60. And strange as it may sound the lack of sound, coupled with speed is an absolutely intoxicating feeling!

It’s not all about the speed either as this car has technology oozing from every bit of it including the door handles. Plus it is smart with useful things like a rear facing third row jump seat making it a 6 seater sedan! Last time I saw one of those was in a 80’s Pontiac wagon or maybe more recently in a Volvo wagon.

If I were looking to buy a premium vehicle to get me from Vancouver and back to White Rock each day, I no doubt would have this car at the top of my list. Because if I could afford a $100K car I’d also have a second one for the trips that consisted of more that 400kms in a day.
