Mamas For Mamas x Splashes Wash Lodge Christmas Toy Drive
We are proud to be partnering up with Mamas For Mamas for the second time this year to host a Christmas Toy Drive that will run from November 23rd – December 16th, 2020.
We will be giving away a FREE Deluxe wash in our patented WhiteWater Touchless Car Wash, for every new and in original packaging children’s toy donated towards the toy drive.
What Can I Bring?
We will be accepting new, and in original packaging toys for children ages 3+
- Examples such as stuffed animals, sports equipment, art supplies, books, are all accepted!
- Gift cards (Superstore, Walmart, Local Stores) for the older children are greatly appreciated as well!
Just bring your donations in their original packaging, and we'll take care of wrapping them!
What happens with the toys?
As a result of your donations, Mamas For Mamas will be working directly with BC Children's Hospital, local principals, and support workers to find families in need during this holiday season.
As a National Charitable Organization, Mamas For Mamas is a specialized poverty relief agency and an all-inclusive community for mothers, fathers, and caregivers. Mamas For Mamas has two chapters locally, in Surrey and White Rock, and are helping families in our area that are in need.
“We are committed to giving a hand up, not just a hand out to those struggling by providing them with essential needs. We are actively engaging with multiple levels of government and non-profit agencies; together we are working to change the systems that contribute to the vicious cycle of poverty, mental health issues, housing, and food insecurity. “
In August, 2020, we were able to work with Mamas For Mamas as our Community Wash Partner's for the month. Our goal for the month was to take a portion of our Deluxe Wash sales ($1 for every wash purchased), and donate the funds to Mamas For Mamas who would be purchasing back to school supplies for families in need within our local communities.
As a result, we were able to raise and donate $1738.00!
About Splashes Wash Lodge
As a locally owned and operated business, we’ve always felt connected to the South Surrey and White Rock area. Both Splashes’ owners were born and raised in surrey, and both have over two decades of experience in the car care industry. As a company, we’re a tight-knit group with multiple employees that have been part of our team for over 10 years. Most of our employees are local, and we’re proud to say we are able to provide up to 50 jobs for our local community depending on the season.
Results?
As one of our most successful toy drives yet, we managed to gather enough toys to fill the back of the delivery van!
