Reid & Melissa Hance, as well as their two young sons, all tested positive for COVID-19 earlier last month and were trying to recover at their home in Tsawwassen.

Reid (46), began experiencing very aggressive coughs as well as chills and extreme fatigue. On April 13^th, the family had scheduled an appointment for Reid to see a doctor. Reid sadly passed away the next day peacefully in his sleep. 

Reid lived a very active life, coaching his sons’ sports teams and going on family fishing and camping trips regularly. He had a very genuine and caring attitude, and was beloved by those who knew him.

The Hance family has been affected greatly by their loss, and are hurting everywhere. They have gone above and beyond for those around them, and were dedicated to giving back, raising money, and helping to make their community incredible. 

We’ve chosen to support this family through our Community Wash Partner Program, as this story hits close to home. One of our team members is closely related to the family, and we are committed in helping out the family in whatever way we can.
