August 2022 Community Wash Partner
This month, we’re calling all pet lovers!With a new month comes a new Community Wash Partner, and we are incredibly excited to be working with Surrey Cats in the month of August! Since 2014, the Surrey Community Cat Foundation has been working hard to address the growing number of homeless cats in Surrey. Their missions involve:Rescue stray or abandoned cats; Spaying or neutering domestic, wild and/or stray cats; Provide medical treatment, food and shelter for cats in need of assistance; and educate the public about responsible pet ownership.One of their ongoing challenges is obtaining ongoing funding, through grants and donations, which is essential to maintaining the neutering program. One of their goals is to never have a waiting list for applicants to this program.

This year, they will have their annual Cat Walk in the Park on September 10th at Surrey Bend Regional Park to raise funds for the neutering program. Make sure to follow them on social media channels for updates on that.
