The Launching Pad Addiction Rehabilitation Society is a non-profit agency serving the residents of the province of British Columbia. Its purpose is to provide a vital link in the continuum of services available to recovering adult male alcoholics and addicts. They assist clients to return to productive and healthy lifestyles, help their families and friends to participate in the recovery process, and create a positive and supportive community response to recovery. Male adult alcoholics/drug addicts will live as clean and sober productive members of the community.

The Launching Pad is an 12-step based assisted-living facility with the goal of helping our clients maintain sobriety from alcohol and other drugs (AODs). We recognize that substance use disorders often stem from an underlying issue or circumstance such as: poverty, homelessness, mental health, trauma, abuse, etc. It's those underlying issues that we try to target and wrap recovery around. There is more to our clients than their problems leading to and stemming from addiction.

Clients participate in AA meetings, programs, and communal living chores as we try to introduce a new, yet simple, way of life. The Launching Pad works together with community resources such as the White Rock OAT Clinic, WorkBC, and Sources Counselling to provide holistic care to our clients. Helping our clients focus on other areas of life outside of recovery that are essential to becoming functioning members of society while maintaining sober living.
